Each child that enters our doors will experience the joy of learning and being a part of a community with other children.

Our environment is based on a peace philosophy. We foster an atmosphere of learning that teaches respect for self, others, and the environment. It encourages a child’s self-confidence and the awareness that each child big or small is an important contributor to the classroom. In this way children learn to be compassionate and responsible for others at an early age.

We use the Montessori method of education (read more) that encourages children to progress at their own rate of learning and move on to the next step when they are ready. Children learn to concentrate for extended periods of time either working alone or with others. Ability rather than age determines the child's level of work. Cooperation rather than competition gives children freedom to learn.

The Berlin Center is a place of beauty, peace, and order. We provide the foundation for children to develop a lifelong adventure of learning and to become self confident, caring citizens of the world.
