Berlin Center Montessori

This program serves children ages 3 to 5 years of age.  Two certified teachers work with the preschool class.  While the state maximum is a 12:1 teacher-student ratio, the Berlin Center usually maintains a much lower ratio.
 
The room is based on a Peace curriculum where children are taught to respect themselves, others, and their environment.   
 
The room is carefully prepared to create an environment of independence with children learning at their own rate.  Montessori work is placed on shelves where children practice step by step learning.  And when they’ve mastered a skill, they move on to new challenges for their level.
